Adelaide Convention Centre

The venue for the Congress is the Adelaide Convention Centre, conveniently located in the heart of the city centre and nestled within the beauty of the Riverbank Precinct, surrounded by parklands and the River Torrens.

Close proximity to the medical hub, entertainment, cultural and sport precinct, the Centre is a short walk to international and boutique hotels and accommodation. Public transport, the Adelaide Railway Station and a taxi ramp are on our doorstep.

The Adelaide Convention Centre opened its doors in 1987 and has been constantly evolving and improving with three major extensions in less than 30 years. They enjoy a global reputation for excellence earning a string of awards and recently completed the new West Building and renovation of the East Building.

Accessibility
The Adelaide Convention Centre provides a range of accessibility options and facilities. All car parks and buildings are wheelchair accessible. View the ACC Accessibility and Facilities information.

Car Parking
There are two undercover car parking options - North Terrace and Riverbank car parks. The Riverbank car park is accessible from Morphett Street / Festival Drive. Both car parks are located directly under the Centre and operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each is fitted with video surveillance camera systems and security patrols both areas.

Clearance is 2.0 metres and automated payment stations accept payment via card only (major credit cards, debit cards and mobile pay). Please note that car parks can reach capacity early in the day during busy events.

An additional $1.00 will be charged for each additional hour to a maximum of $30.50 over a 24-hour period.

Public Transport
Adelaide is home to an efficient, citywide transport network, including free tram travel within the City Centre. The closest tram stop is located right in front of the historic Adelaide Railway Station, which is just a two-minute walk from the Centre.

Taxi
In addition, three main taxi companies operate in the Adelaide metropolitan area and can be booked for pick up or drop off from our North Terrace and Morphett Street Bridge (West Building) entrances. For guests departing the Centre, a taxi rank is located on North Terrace, right on the Centre’s doorstep. Uber is also in operation within Adelaide providing another convenient mode of transport.
